How to Make a Tomato Heart

Today, I'm gonna show you how to make plum tomatoes into heart shapes. Start by placing your tomato on a chopping board. Then use a sharp knife to chop the top off. So it looks like this: Next, we need to sit the tomato on the flat side, And use your knife again to cut straight down the middle.

Separate out each half, then push them together to form a heart. Pretty cool, huh? I'll show you again quickly. Chop the top off at an angle like this, Sit the tomato on the flat side, and chop it in half. Lie the pieces down flat, and push them together.

And there's our heart. These make a great addition to a tomato and mozzarella salad. They look really good, and they're perfect for Valentine's day. You can make a slightly different heart out of two tomatoes which are roughly the same size.

Chop the tops off, same as before and put the flat sides together to make a heart. You can hold this together with a cocktail stick, to look like Cupid's arrow going through the heart. You can make these as a fun snack for your loved ones, or put them in their lunchbox to surprise them later on. I hope you've enjoyed watching this video.
